On behalf of Sony Pictures Global Business Services in Gdynia, Poland, we are currently recruiting for the position of
AP TEAM LEADER who will ensure timely and accurate processing of all Disbursement transactions for assigned work areas
AP Team Leader
Nr ref.: 1003179 Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide and support oversight of day-to-day management of AP Accountants team
- Monitor team’s performance to ensure that results are achieved in an effective/efficient way
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required
- Manage team to provide services on time and to budget
- Ensure completion of all required Disbursement processing activities prior to period ends
- Provide Managers with regular reports on performance of Disbursements process
- Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of Disbursement transaction processing
- Deal with more complex vendor queries relating to Disbursement processes
Skills & Experience Required:- Significant experience (3-5 years) of supervising staff within AP or T&E process
- Professional qualifiications (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) are required
- Understanding of local regulatory requirements (GAAP and IFRS)
- Good working knowledge of SAP Financials
- Experience of working in shared services environment preferable
- Ability to lead teams and operate in international / shared services environment
Language Skills:- Fluent business English language skills (oral and written)
- Working knowledge of Polish is an advantage but is not necessary
- Other European languages highly desirable e.g. French, Italian, Dutch, German
