Return to Poland Programme

Hays Poland is also the co-author of Return to Poland Programme. This project was implemented in October 2007 and was created with all those in mind who emigrated from Poland and anyone who considers coming back to Poland. It presents many issues concerning labour market and polish economy, as well as changes that have occurred since Poland joined the EU. The site will also feature datas about labour market in Poland, salaries offered in Poland, the most sought-after professions and regularly updated job offer database for qualified skilled workers and managers.

Our social and environment responsibility

Hays Poland is a member of the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility. The Foundation encourages corporations
to be Socially Responsible and to assist them in achieving commercial success in ways that respect ethical values, people in need, their communities and the environment. This is the Foundation of Companies that pools its financial and intellectual capital to create unified campaigns against social injustice. The two programs, Hot-Meal-a-Day and Fresh Milk, are the best way to support hungry children, their families and their school. During the HAYS annual Christmas Party in December 2008, the Hays’ employees collected the proceeds for the Hot-Meal-a-Day program.

Hays has a low adverse impact on the environment. We recognize the need to minimize the impact as much as possible and we have implemented various initiatives to achieve this aim. All Hays offices have recycle bins for waste paper. Toner and printer cartridges are recycled with the proceeds being donated to the Lighthouse Club, one of the Company's chosen charities. The recycling of old mobile phones also benefits this charity.

Throughout the business most staff operate from open plan offices, this reduces the square footage of offices, reducing the energy needed. Our layouts are designed to make operations efficient and encourage strong team development We believe that these and other initiatives make good commercial sense as well as being environmentally sound.

We are aware of the initiative to make companies Carbon Neutral, and we are working with Future Forests on our E Shareholder project. A tree will be planted for every shareholder who signs up, via www.shareview.co.uk, to receive all their future communications from Hays electronically. This includes future annual report and accounts and notice of meetings. This reduces the environmental impact and reduces the Company's costs.

Hays is keen to improve its operational efficiency and enhance customer service whilst introducing processes that are environmentally friendly.
We digitally store candidate records for use across the whole business and are investigating electronic billing of clients where possible.
