European Payroll Specialist

We're looking for a European Payroll Specialist to join our client – a global company in the pharmaceutical sector, based in Warsaw. The European Payroll Specialist will collaborate with payroll and accounting teams across various regions in Eastern Europe, ensuring accurate data management, oversight, and clear communication of relevant instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile payroll transactions with bank statements, including performing analysis, verification, and documentation.
  • Provide support to employees and managers in international markets, addressing inquiries and prioritizing needs.
  • Cooperate with payroll and accounting partners globally.
  • Maintain and update process tracking related to payments and associated data.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and follow up on required procedures.
  • Oversee and analyze time and attendance records.
  • Manage local registration activities and ensure alignment with company policies and enrollment procedures.
  • Process bank payments and generate supporting bank documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ of "in-house" experience in a multinational environment, supporting Estern European or global markets.
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Additional activities and experience in process improvement, audit will be a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with ERP system, knowledge of NetSuite will be an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently with a proactive mindset.
