Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Medical Lead and Commercial team to establish a strong medical presence in the local market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external medical experts and opinion leaders in relevant therapeutic areas, while gaining a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Contribute to the creation and dissemination of complex scientific information, presenting data on current and future products to all stakeholders.
  • Promote disease awareness by organizing educational programs and scientific events (e.g., symposia, regional advisory boards, scientific meetings) in line with disease plans and compliance standards.
  • Actively participate in pre-launch and life cycle management activities for existing and pipeline products.
  • Provide medical support and respond to unsolicited HCP inquiries regarding products, in compliance with local regulations and internal processes.
  • Engage in scientific interactions with therapeutic specialists on diagnostic and clinically relevant aspects of the therapeutic areas.
  • Coordinate local patient access programs (EAP) to address urgent medical needs.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitive insights on diagnostic methods and treatment trends in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Share KOL feedback to inform brand strategies and planning.
  • Support internal medical knowledge development and deliver training for sales and other teams on disease and product-related topics, aligned with guidance from the Medical Affairs Director EPM.
  • Manage local aspects of investigator-initiated trials and other research projects in compliance with local laws and MA SOPs.
  • Ensure pharmacovigilance and risk management activities are implemented according to local regulations and SOPs.
  • Guarantee compliance and legal excellence in all medical activities as per company SOPs and local requirements.
  • Provide support for other medical projects as needed.
Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences – preferably a medical degree (MD) or equivalent (Master’s, PhD, PharmD) in a health-related field such as Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, etc.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an MSL in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven experience working with innovative companies and products.
  • Ideally, experience in neurology or cardiology and established relationships with top KOLs in the country.
  • Previous involvement in product launches is an advantage.
  • Strong scientific, clinical, and Medical Affairs expertise.
  • Ability to discuss clinical and scientific concepts both on-label and off-label.
  • Skilled in leveraging data insights to guide next steps and improve customer experience.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse healthcare stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of the local healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to convey scientific and medical information effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong teaching and presentation abilities.
  • Highly collaborative, patient-focused, adaptable, and scientifically curious.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs and other key partners.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments and taking initiative.
  • Analytical mindset, integrity, and strong compliance orientation.
  • Willingness to travel nationally; valid driver’s license required.
  • Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong IT skills and digital proficiency for effective communication in a virtual setting.
