We’re Hiring: Microsoft Fabric Data Consultant / Data Engineer
Location: Gdańsk (Hybrid: 2–3 days/week on-site)
Engagement: Delivery-focused project with handover to internal teams
Language: English (B2+)


About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Consultant / Data Engineer to design and implement end‑to‑end, governed data pipelines across enterprise and operational systems. You will build ingestion and transformation processes from raw (Bronze) through curated (Silver) to business-ready (Gold) layers, enabling high-quality analytics and Power BI reporting.
This is a hands-on delivery role, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, with a structured handover at the end of the engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Fabric & Data Engineering
  • Design and implement secure, reliable data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Configure ingestion, transformation, and modeling workflows using Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, and Power BI.
  • Build and manage Bronze and Silver layers: raw landing, cleansing, standardization, analytical structuring.
  • Optimize dataflows, datasets, and Direct Lake / DirectQuery configurations.
Data Security & Governance
  • Define and implement data security and access models (Entra ID/Azure AD groups, RLS, Power BI app audiences).
  • Ensure governed, well-structured datasets aligned with business role-based access requirements.
Integrations
  • Implement and configure ingestion from Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Dataverse, Export to Data Lake, Synapse Link, or similar).
  • Support integrations with additional enterprise applications (ERP, MES, Atlassian, etc.).
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work with Data Analysts and business stakeholders to validate data models, metrics, and reporting needs.
  • Support testing, validation, and performance tuning of data pipelines and semantic models.
  • Produce architecture documentation, pipeline specifications, security configurations, and handover materials.
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with
    Microsoft Fabric
    (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Semantic Models).
  • Strong background in
    Power BI
    dataset and semantic model design, including Direct Lake or DirectQuery patterns.
  • Experience integrating data from
    Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS).
  • Fluent English skills (minimum B2).


Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to work on-site in Gdańsk 2–3 days per week.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to participate in workshops, design sessions, and validation meetings.
  • Availability during key project phases (architecture definition, security design, handover).
