The position supports the Group Treasury function in assisting with managing liquidity, funding, supporting cash management practices and financial risk control in line with the company’s strategy.
Where treasury activities are delivered through the BSC, Treasury Group retains full ownership, governance and decision-making authority for treasury strategy, risk management, policies, controls and external stakeholder relationships.
Treasury Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a treasury function, ideally within an international or group environment.
- Practical experience in cash & liquidity management, including:
- Monitoring daily cash positions and global bank balances,
- Preparing short‑ to medium‑term cash flow forecasts,
- Close collaboration with regional Finance Directors (FDs) to ensure forecast accuracy,
- Managing cash pooling structures and intercompany funding,
- Executing and monitoring cash transfers and intercompany loans,
- Supporting securitisation programmes (monthly reporting, credit limit reviews).
Debt & Financial Risk Management
- Experience in monitoring and reporting debt portfolios, interest calculations, repayments, and maturities.
- Preparation of reports on external borrowings and intercompany loans.
- Monitoring FX and interest rate exposures at group level.
- Supporting hedging execution and preparing related documentation.
- Ensuring compliance of hedging activities with treasury policies and defined risk limits.
Reporting & Month‑End Activities
- Experience preparing daily liquidity and debt reports.
- Ability to deliver monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Month‑end activities such as FX rate updates, interest reports, and interest forecasting.
- Contribution to monthly treasury reports for senior management.
- Support for month‑end, half‑year, and year‑end treasury accounting entries.
- Participation in internal and external treasury‑related audits.
Banking & Treasury Systems
- Experience administering bank accounts and managing bank mandates.
- Working knowledge of SAP (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Hands‑on experience with GTreasury or another Treasury Management System (TMS).
- Experience in a Middle Office environment is an advantage.
- Ability to improve treasury processes and work efficiently with large datasets.

Group Treasury operates a centrally governed treasury model. Certain operational, transactional and reporting activities as outlined above may be performed by a BSC employee. Notwithstanding this, Group Treasury retains ownership and accountability for (within the scope of DOA):
- Treasury strategy, policies and control framework
- Liquidity, funding and capital structure decisions
- FX and interest rate risk management, including hedging strategy
- Approval of material cash movements and funding transactions
- External bank relationships and treasury-related stakeholder management
- Oversight of treasury systems
- Final review, approval and sign-off of treasury reporting activities
Group Treasury remains responsible for the direction, oversight, review and challenge of activities performed by the BSC, ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures with the scope of the DOA as prescribed by the Board.
