On behalf of our client - a leading , global company in the energy and petrochemical sector - we are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead Production Optimization Specialist to join their strategic planning team. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure high production efficiency, economic profitability, and operational excellence in a dynamic industrial environment.

Location: Gdańsk

Key responsibilieties:

• Supervising technological parameters in refinery operations optimization processes,

• Performing optimization calculations within the Aspen PIMS environment for supply chain purposes,

• Critically analyzing production plans regarding their technical feasibility (including fraction yields, unit capacities, and turnaround schedules),

• Monitoring feedstock and intermediate product allocation processes, as well as optimizing finished product blending recipes,

• Preparing economic evaluations for non-standard market operations, such as spot purchases or additional inter-plant transfers,

• Regularly verifying and updating LP model structures to ensure alignment with the actual technological state of the refinery.

Requirements:

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or a related field,

• Proven minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the oil or refining industry,

• Fluency in Aspen PIMS software or another linear programming (LP) system,

• Experience in refinery process optimization,

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and excellent analytical skills,

• English language proficiency.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of additional data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI),

• Advanced academic degrees in a related field.
