For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Linux Administrator

Location: Warsaw hybrid work.
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation.
Rate: to 105 PLN/h net on B2B
Start date: 3 months possible
Working hours: flexible, between 7:00 and 20:00

Tech stack:
Tomcat Apache + some automation tools, Cryptography issues (PKI, PGP)

What will you do:

• Your primary responsibility will be to maintain high availability and performance of production Oracle databases and applications running in AIX and Linux environments, using applicable security standards, as well as:
• systemic support for maintaining business continuity of databases and applications by resolving incidents and problems related to the operation of these environments,
• monitoring the correctness of database environment operation
• verification and implementation of changes delivered to production systems
• maintaining installation and operational documentation,
• participation in project work carried out within the local and international organization

What we expect from you:

• Possess technical knowledge and experience in:
• Advanced Linux system administration
• Cryptography issues (PKI, PGP)
• IP network management issues
• Working knowledge of scripting languages
• Ability to quickly assimilate comprehensive infrastructure knowledge
• Experience and flexibility in supporting on-call systems
• Ability to think analytically and solve problems quickly
• Good command of the English language to enable efficient communication in an international team (oral and written)
• Excellent teamwork skills, including in a distributed work system
• Ability to communicate in an understandable, cultured and friendly manner
• Good work organization, multi-tasking and ability to prioritize tasks
• Skills of process thinking and process optimization
• Motivation to improve skills and update knowledge
• Current RHCE certifications will be an added advantage
• At least 2- 3 years of experience in a similar position in a continuous service organization.

What would be a plus:

• A university degree with a technical profile (very nice to have)
