About the Company
For our Scandinavian client, who is currently expanding their Shared Service Center in the Tricity area, we are looking for
AR Junior and AR Specialist profiles with Dutch, preferably Flemish.
Your Responsibilities:
- Post cash transactions accurately, ensuring they are allocated to the correct customer accounts and matched on the invoice level.
- Carry out indexation activities.
- Complete monthly responsibilities independently, including precise posting of monthly sales reports.
- Process supplier invoices to ensure correct and timely pass‑through billing.
- Assist with payment reminders and account reconciliations when needed.
- Manage incoming inquiries by email and phone.
- Contribute to reporting tasks and month‑end closing activities.
- Place purchase orders and monitor the purchasing workflow.
- Provide assistance and guidance to junior team members.
What We Expect
We are open to candidates at both: Junior and Specialist levels. Requirements differ depending on experience:
For the Junior role:
- Initial professional experience in a business environment — ideally in customer service, sales, finance, administration, or similar fields.
- Very good command of Dutch, preferably Flemish, and strong English skills.
- Strong skills in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
- Motivation to learn accounting processes and grow within the finance area.
- Availability to work on-site during the first 3 months (training period).
- Readiness for business travel during onboarding.
For the Specialist role:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in AR/OTC processes or within the finance area (e.g., invoicing, cash application, reconciliations).
- Practical experience in invoice processing, client communication, Accounts Receivable operations, or participation in process transitions/migrations.
- Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong command of Dutch, preferably Flemish, and fluency in English.
- Strong skills in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
- On-site presence for the first 3 months and readiness for business travel during onboarding.
