For our client – a leading company in the energy commodities trading sector – we are looking for an experienced Biomass Trader to join a dynamically growing operations team. In this position, you will be responsible for executing commercial processes and building the company's position on the Polish and international markets.

Location: Poland (remote work)

Scope of duties:

• Creating value throughout the entire supply chain through active purchase and sale of biomass,
• Acquiring new customers and building lasting relationships with suppliers and recipients of raw materials,
• Negotiating commercial contracts and supervising their proper execution,
• Monitoring the energy commodities market to identify new business opportunities,
• Cooperation with the logistics department in the field of optimizing the flow of goods,
• Ensuring compliance of commercial processes with applicable standards and certifications.

Requirements:

• Higher education (preferred business, technical or logistics fields),
• Documented experience in a similar position in the field of bulk commodities trading (preferred experience in the biomass, biofuels or coal industry),
• Knowledge of logistics processes and the principles of supply chain functioning,
• Very good communication, negotiation and analytical skills,
• Fluency in English (spoken and written),
• Excellent self-organization and the ability to set priorities,
• Readiness for frequent business travel to build relationships with contractors,
• Independence in making commercial decisions and a goal-oriented attitude.
