Credit Manager (UK market)

For our client an international company with SSC located in Kraków, we are looking for Credit Manager (UK market) who will join the Finance and Accounting Department.

Scope of responsibilities:
  • lead and coordinate credit management in cooperation with our customer portfolio, financial controlling, sales teams, and treasury,
  • the active part of the local sales and management teams to force sales and minimize risks,
  • understand, follow, implement, and ensure our Invoice to Cash EMEA Process,
  • assessing credit scoring models, setting credit and payment terms, determining interest rates and negotiating with key partners,
  • deal with customers, local sales teams, and credit insurance,
  • monitor, manage actions, collect, force, plan, and decide AR overdue,
  • Month End Closing Checks,
  • the legal local decision about bad debt,
  • solve issues between sales teams, customers, and AFSS.

Our requirements:
  • Previous experience in the area of credit management experience or invoice to cash ideally in an international environment.
  • Completed studies in the field of Finance and Accounting will be an asset.
  • Understanding of local laws (debt collection and bankruptcy law).
  • Good understanding of Invoice to Cash processes and operational flows.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Previous experience in SAP system will be an asset.
  • Strong English skills both in speaking and writing.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
