We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Specialist for globally known company operating in energy industry in Kraków (onsite)
What will you be doing in this role?
-Reacting on various incidents and requests logged by internal employees (coming through ticket system)
-Ensuring, that all the problems are solved in a satisfactory way (agreed SLA's)
-Providing hardware/software/network problem diagnosis/resolution
- Support the business with their IT needs
-Fixing IT issues at first and second line
-Building your IT knowledge every day and share it with other team members
-Looking for improvements to avoid future incidents where possible
-Recording all incidents within ticket logging system, incident management, follow processes
-Installing and configuring devices
What you need to succeed?
Essential:
-English level: min. B2
-Office365 and/or G_Suite, Google Docs and Gmail
-Apple and Android Smart Devices knowledge
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong Documentation skills
-Strong time management skills
-Excellent customer service and organisational skills to stakeholders. Ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
-Excellent verbal and written communications
-Team player as well as independent
Nice to have:
-ITIL framework
-working with Microsoft environment experience
-Some knowledge of Skype for Business, Teams and Slack
-Knowledge of installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing applicable software, hardware and peripherals
-Knowledge of VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
