For our client, an international company located in Katowice and Germany, we are looking for candidates open to relocation to Germany and interested in working as: HR and Payroll Service Team Leader with German.

Your tasks as HR and Payroll Service Team Leader:
  • Reports to the Head of Payroll GER
  • Assists in personnel and budget planning
  • Participate in the selection and hiring of new employees.
  • Communicates team relevant information, instructions and objectives to team members in a transparent manner and is open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Monitors team members' work for quality and alignment with group goals and guidelines.
  • Assists team members in completing day-to-day field operations and acts as the first point of contact for technical questions and advice.
  • Responsible for prioritizing day-to-day operations within the team, scheduling attendance and absences - Responsible for time management of staff.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and reviews and make decisions on training activities.
  • Capacity management of the Payroll team based on KPI's as well as ensuring compliance with agreed service level agreements
  • Support and supervision of payroll tax and social security audits
  • Contact person for year-end closing issues
  • Responsibility for monthly and year-end closing activities within payroll accounting
  • Driving process improvements and digitalization
  • Continuous improvement of service delivery processes and structures

To be the best Candidate for this role, you will need:
  • Extensive professional and practical experience in payroll accounting
  • Language: Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Bachelor or higher in Economics oder Human Resources
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sound and up-to-date knowledge of tax and social security law
  • Extensive professional and practical experience in HR
  • Extensive experience in shared service organizations
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and Paisy an advantage
  • Independent, conscientious and structured way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility
  • Experience in the (professional) management of employees
