Our client is an experienced and proactive IT Solutions Partner from UK, that provides IT services to a wide variety of organisations. We are looking for IT Project Manager, who will work in the new office in Katowice (hybrid model).
Your new role
As the Project Manager you will oversee and manage current projects. Your knowledge of the team will ensure that the right person is assigned to client projects to ensure a smooth and hassle-free implementation for the client. Your knowledge of IT infrastructure will allow you to advise and work with the Client Delivery Manager to ensure we are providing the right solutions to our clients. Furthermore, this knowledge will also allow you to assist and provide support on critical matters on the Service Desk ensuring minimal down-time for clients.
Main tasks of the job:
Service Desk:
• To answer telephone calls, email, and support tickets from clients
• To be available to the Service Desk Team for advice or escalation of tickets; to provide a higher level of support for critical tickets whereby clients require complex solutions
• To liaise with the Service Desk Delivery Manager to ensure swift IT resolution for clients, identifying persistent issues with their infrastructure and resolving where required
• To identify potential training requirements within the team and discuss them for implementation
Projects Desk:
• To communicate effectively with clients, ensuring they have an opportunity to ask questions regarding projects
• Scheduling clients’ projects and time management planning, ensuring the Service Desk is also informed of implementation phases with sufficient notice
• Create Project plans with key information and schedule which can be shared with the client
• To ensure ongoing client projects are on-track for completion
• To provide training to Technicians where identified to allow the takeover of projects; to ensure that the Technicians assigned to projects have access to help when required
• To liaise with the Client Delivery Manager regarding project proposals and time frames
• To ensure on completion of a project, that client’s site configurations is updated with the relevant information
• To accurately quote customers based of information within Auto-Task on project propositions
• To actively take on additional training to ensure your current knowledge remains up to date
What you'll need to succeed
• Experience implementing migration projects (on prem to on prem/on prem to cloud)
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with different servers (AD, Exchange, RDS, Hyper-V) including setting up.
• Experience working with Intune/Endpoint Manager
• Strong communication skills
• Efficient time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Effective team management skills
• Adaptability
• Willingness to work out of hours where project implementation requires so
