For Our Client, international producer, due to further development of organization, we are looking for Production & Supply Chain Operations Director.

The selected Candidate will lead all operations functions (logistics, manufacturing, planning, purchasing and continuous improvement). This role will be providing leadership direction and operational execution through the team across the operations functions in line with business operational plan. In this role you will work successfully at this strategically important facility and also across global and diverse teams to achieve growth and profitability targets for products manufactured at this facility in line with customer commitments.

Moreover, as the company has matrix structure, you will cooperate globally with the operational team to ensure smooth and timely replenishment of international logistics network to deliver multiple products/ technologies globally. In addition, you would ensure expected level of inventory accuracy or exceed inventory adjustment and product scrap budget.

The selected Candidate will support the dynamic increase of the production output in local facility through efficient improvements using lean/operational excellence/ kaizen tools. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with the global support functions to facilitate the integration of the local operational team in the global matrix organization. Furthermore, you will ensure that you are a role model for health and safety practices to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace.

In terms of process optimization, it will be crucial to manage bottlenecks of the process, reduce manufacturing lead time, but also review and make recommendations for changes in industrial engineering (plant process and workflow) for the facility.

We are looking for Candidates with minimum 10 years of leadership experience in e2e supply chain management/ operations management. Due to reporting to global structures English proficiency is essential. Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Certification is desired. Experience in Greenfield projects or process transformation would be additional advantage. We are looking for Candidates who are open to travel within Poland and internationally (international travel requirement is limited).
