Purpose of the role:
The Team Lead “Quality Management” is managing a team of up to twelve consultants in the respective area, working at two sites. He/she contributes to the organizational development and focuses on people management.

Your responsibilities would include:
• Your main responsibility is to manage and lead a team of SAP and Non-SAP IT consultants as part of the Quality Management process area
• In corporation with the other IT Industrial Teams, you will work closely with the Global Process Owners and the Tactical process Owners
• Operational-related responsibility to manage the Quality Management related AMS and IT Product support items according to ITIL
• Project- and Portfolio Management
o Manages the IT enhancements (solution approach and budget)
o Resource management of internal and external resources
o Joins the CAB (Change advisory boards)
• Interlinks the business requirements to the respective functional experts in this team, by considering the governance and process guidelines
• Represents the topics of the Quality Management Team towards the other IT Teams (vertical and horizontal)
• Shares the values and objectives of the Group inside and outside of the team
• Acts as a Servant Leader to take care of the people you’re responsible for
• Mid- and long-term team development according to the IT Strategy to support the targets of the IT Organization
• Recruitment of internal and external experts and consultants (full hire2retire lifecycle)
• Run appraisal meetings and Jour Fixes (e.g. annual target agreements, work & development plan reviews, training needs)
• Administrative and legal approval tasks (absence requests, time confirmations)
• Supports the next level up managers duties (e.g. develop the org.structure, portfolio mgmt., capability & resource planning)

You are a good candidate if:
• You hold a successfully completed university degree or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in managing and coaching hybrid teams
• You gathered several years of extensive practical managerial experience in consultancy and especially in SAP manufacturing industry and its integration within an international cooperation
• You have a good understanding of business processes
• You are characterised by great analytic skills, and entrepreneur thinking in combination with a driving attitude
• You are an experienced communicator and team player and used to work with executive management levels
• You have very good knowledge of written and spoken English. German language skills are appreciated but not mandatory, other languages are beneficial.
