Buyer, direct, zakupy, produkcja, elektronika,electronics, automation, purchasing, procurement, supply chain,
Currently for one of our Client's, we are looking for a Direct Buyer with specialisation in:electronics, automatics, spare parts, machines.

The key responsibilities will be:
  • Responsible for supplier on time delivery metrics including communicating and engaging corrective action plans with special focus on critical commodities
  • Being first point of contact with special focus on critical commodities to establish proper communication level with suppliers to secure supplier awareness level of requirements and needs.
  • Establish relationships with Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Quality. Drive completion of all purchasing activities required for meeting schedules and project initiatives.
  • Participate in and support the coordinated purchase agreement programs with the Strategic Sourcing organization.
  • Participate in localisation initiatives identifying and implementing regional alternate sources of supply with agreement with Strategic Sourcing taking a lead on specific project where assigned.
  • Participation in Supply Management initiatives/projects as assigned.
  • Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) as well as policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will posses:
  • 5 years of experience in procurement area
  • SAP environment experience
  • University background
  • Proven results in driving supplier improvement and implementing cost reduction programs.
  • Possess knowledge in strategic sourcing, supply-chain, manufacturing and operational procurement
  • Self-starter, possessing high degree of self-motivation and bias for action.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in a transactional environment and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Proficient in dealing with language and cultural barriers
  • Knowledge in data architecture and management applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
