Your new role

  • Manage the global annual compensation review within Workday. Provide data analysis for planning, budgeting, and reporting on actuals for stakeholders across leadership, HR, and Finance.
  • Calculation, communication, and implementation of annual corporate incentive.
  • Implements collective bargaining agreements and mandatory salary requirements across all global locations.
  • Compensation governance - accurate, single-source record keeping. Documentation of policies and practices with operational excellence and process controls.
  • Support with Executive Compensation including benchmarking, short-term and long-term incentives.
  • Management of compensation survey participation.
  • Review and development of global salary ranges in line with market trends.
  • Complete job evaluation against internal structures and external market pricing.
  • Manage the global recognition program including communication, utilization analysis and vendor management.
  • Respond to ad hoc compensation requests from the business and HR community - HRBP, Talent and Talent Acquisition aligned with global reward practices that demonstrates commercial awareness and ensures legal compliance.
  • Prepare internal and external market data analysis with conclusions and recommendations.
  • Review and approval of proposed salary adjustments against established guidelines, policies, and practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to resolves complex compensation issues.
  • Manage, develop, and review job architecture, job families and career development paths.
  • Produce and develop compensation dashboards on effectiveness of compensation programs.
  • Drive consistency, standardization, and simplification across all compensation programs.
  • Develop scalable compensation solutions as the business enters a phase of growth.
  • Act as lead in merger and acquisitions.
  • Provide insights and input into diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda.
  • Serve as the compensation expert for the Workday HRIS system.
  • Keep abreast of legislation changes in reward and external market trends and highlights existing reward policies and procedures that may be impacted.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven track record of working as a compensation expert in an in-house reward team in a global context across a broad range of compensation programs.
  • Experience in merger and acquisitions and developing solutions to align and onboard into existing compensation programs.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with senior executives.
  • Highly effective working in a matrixed organization and as a collaborative team player.
  • Collaborative and inclusive; ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Action oriented with opportunities for continuous improvement and problem resolution.
  • Excellent analytics skills with ability to present complex information to non-specialist audiences.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the drivers of business performance and profitability.
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, other MS packages and experience of Workday compensation functionality desirable.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Highly numerate with ability to understand business financials.
