For one of our clients, an international company, we are looking for an Industrial Engineer.
As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and monitoring short term and long range plans regarding expansion procedures, staffing, equipment, vehicles and products at the operations.
- Assisting in providing technical training to personnel in workshops, seminars and on-the-job training sessions in such areas as operations, manning, contingency planning, productivity, cost-effectiveness and manpower scheduling.
- Monitoring productivity, service and cost performance in all areas of operations and assisting personnel in implementing required changes.
- Maintaining communication between operations and corporate departments to provide technical expertise relating to facility requests, including lease termination, new location, five year planning, equipment justification, layout, vehicle planning and cost justification.
- Assisting in studies designed to implement sound, innovative engineering concepts into operations and thus produce benefits for the company and customers
- Preparing management information systems to aid in the control and development of the operations goals
- Participating in special staff support projects
- Performing cost and benefit analysis
- Developing Procedures and operative manuals
- Mapping and analysing process
- Ensuring that operating plans comply with safety and legal standards.
What you'll bring with you:
- Degree or professional qualification in Industrial Engineering or quantitative discipline
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken (additional European language is a plus)
- Desirable additional knowledge of: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain or logistics
- At least two years of experience working as Operation Engineer/Quality Engineer/Process Engineer/ Continuous Improvement Engineer into manufacturing or service areas, supporting operations areas
- Strong communication skills (presentation skills & digital knowledge)
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a structured workflow
- Experienced in time and movements analysis, line balancing or routes calculation
- Demonstrated experience with analytical tools like Pareto, Ishikawa, Trend analysis will be beneficial
- High Excel skills (formulas, dynamic charts, macros) and analytical skills
