The Global Delivery Centre in Wroclaw is a growing location, predominately providing support services to the company entities in the areas of fund accounting and investment operations.
About our team:
The main function of the Reconciliation team is identifying discrepancies between trading positions and cash transactions of the funds and those of its trading counterparties (executing brokers, clearing brokers and exchanges). Once identified team is responsible for investigation and reconciliation of above.
- Processing Cash and Positions reconciliation daily
- Processing Dividend and Income reconciliation daily
- Processing amendments of cash dividends and coupons
- Cooperating with internal and external departments to resolve technical issues
The manager of Reconciliation team will:
- Take responsibility for end-to-end process, tasks allocation and control
- Actively supporting team in daily processes
- Act as the main point of contact for process related queries
- Establish a professional relationship with clients and build confidence as a reliable contact
- Ensure that all company and regulatory daily, weekly, monthly and annual procedures and reporting tasks are adhered to, breaches of controls etc. are reported to the appropriate parties,
- Create a balanced workload within the team structure as a whole, anticipate and plan ahead to adhere to deadlines, check work completion and quality
- Constantly monitors process knowledge of team members and progress made in this area
- Provide feedback to team members in a professional manner
- Identify risks associated with new and existing processes and implement measures to control
- Ensure that all errors are identified, recorded, and reviewed, and appropriate action taken to address root cause and avoid repeat occurrence
- Motivate team members and share experience and expertise
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a finance related discipline
- A minimum of seven years relevant work experience
- An in-depth technical knowledge of different asset types
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Dependability, flexibility, and the ability to lead by example
- High degree of accuracy
- Ability to adhere to rigid deadlines
- Team spirit, can do attitude
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
