For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

PostgreSQL Administrator

Location: remote work
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation (first contract signed for 12 months)
Rate: 110-125 PLN/h net
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: 8:00-18:00 (working 8h per day)
Team: 5 people
Remote work: 100% remote

What will you do:

• Day to day support of PostgreSQL/ MySQL/ MariaDB on-prem and in Cloud databases including replications and PaaS databases
• Diagnosis and solving availability/performance issues
• Maintenance and upgrade PostgreSQL/ MySQL/ MariaDB on-prem and in Cloud
• Migrate database from on-prem to Cloud
• Implementation of new projects
• Cooperation with other team members
• Creating documentation

What we expect from you:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB on-prem databases administration
• Minimum 2 years of experiences in managing PostgreSQL/MySQL/MariaDB in AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud
• PostgreSQL/ MySQL/ MariaDB software installation on-prem and in Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• PostgreSQL/ MySQL/ MariaDB software upgrading (minor and major release) including clusters upgrade
• Experience in data migration (pgdump, pgrestore, mysqldump, mysqlimport, pglogical)
• Knowledge of English on min. B2/C1 level

What would be a plus:

• Knowledge and experience in database monitoring and performance tuning
• Knowledge of continuous archiving and point-in-time-recovery (PITR) will be in plus
• Experience in PostgreSQL/ MySQL/ MariaDB replication and High Availability solutions will be a plus
• Database management on-prem and in Cloud certifications will be a plus
