Civil and Structural Designer
Due to the request of our Client, an extended company from the petrochemical industry with an established position on the market, we are looking for people in the position of: Civil and Structural Designer


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform static calculations for foundations, steel structures, and buildings.
  • Prepare 3D models, drawings, and Material Take-Offs (MTOs)/Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Develop conceptual designs for civil and structural projects.
  • Lead a team of civil and structural engineers on small projects or FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) phases.
  • Ensure quality of engineering documents and material supply in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Manage man-hour consumption, quantities, costs, milestones, freezing dates, and deviations.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to maintain an interdisciplinary mindset.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, including drafting and design roles.
  • Proven experience in onshore oil and gas civil and structural design.
  • Strong understanding of EU and US standards for civil and structural design.
  • Basic knowledge of geotechnical aspects (soil conditions, ability to review soil reports).
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Demonstrated agility, mobility, and cost-consciousness.
Technical Skills
  • AutoCAD – confirmed proficiency.
  • Autodesk Robot or similar software for static calculations.
  • Tekla, AVEVA, or SmartPlant for 3D modelling.
  • Knowledge of Advance Steel is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MTO/BOQ preparation tools.
  • Strong ability to work with engineering software and ensure compliance with standards.
