Team Leader RTR

Recort to Report, General Ledger, Team Leader
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader RTR for one of our clients – a leading company in the food industry with a strong presence across the EMEA region.

Role Overview
The Team Leader RTR manages the General Ledger (GL) team within the Business Service Center, ensuring accurate and timely execution of RTR processes. This role partners closely with Finance Controllers and Finance Directors, drives process improvements, and develops team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the RTR/GL team to meet SLA and quality standards.
  • Oversee daily operations and provide backup for critical tasks.
  • Ensure smooth process transitions and drive optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor performance and achieve defined process KPIs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support recruitment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal policies, and standards.
  • Implement standardization and automation initiatives (RPA/BPM).
  • Manage project groups and support continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across departments and with internal clients.
  • Lead operational meetings with supported countries and present performance results.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/RTR experience
  • Experience in managing a Team
  • Project management experience
  • Fluent English (C1)
  • Strong ERP knowledge (SAP required; Navision/Infologic a plus)
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with automation tools (RPA/BPM) is an advantage
