Hays IT Contracting is a cooperation based on B2B rules. We connect IT specialists with the most interesting technological projects on the market. For our client we are looking for Candidates to join their R&D department, which functions as an international center specializing in advanced computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, edge‑to‑cloud solutions and data‑driven innovation, for the position of Test Automation Engineer.


Work mode: 100% remote
Compensation: 120 PLN/h net (open to higher rates based on experience)
Contract type: B2B
Experience: min. 4 years
Start date: ASAP (within 1 month)
Project: planned for min. 12 months
English: B2/C1


Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, and UFT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
  • Work with Java programming or other programming language to enhance automation frameworks.
  • Perform API testing and integrate it into the automation process.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.


Essential skills:

  • Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in automation tools: Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, and UFT.
  • Experience in API testing and familiarity with tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Programming skills in Java or other programming language.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.


Nice to have:

  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Test Automation Engineer
  • Fluent in German, with excellent communication skills.
