For our client, an international and high reputation hotel chain, we are looking for candidates for the position of Head of Operations Management in CEE Region.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This role ensures exceptional operational quality and strong performance across all hotels within the assigned region. Working closely with other key departments, the position plays a key part in shaping and advancing the strategy for expanding the Hotels Network in the CEE region. The position is based in the Warsaw office; however, the role requires frequent travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent the company and ensure consistent high-end execution of the management contracts in terms of operational performance, brand strengths, quality, group values, strategy, policies and processes.
- Drive and seek out opportunities to improve the commercial and financial performance of the hotels
- Drive accountability at hotel level to ensure General Managers are actively involved and engaged and own the delivery of results in every aspect of the operation.
- Responsible for the growth of Management Fee Income by setting appropriate actions in line with the country’s objectives & brand policies
- Continuously initiate new actions to improve the performance of the hotels.
- Support the General Managers in developing a business strategy for their hotels.
- Be a strong leader, manage and coach the General Managers of the hotels in the respective perimeter. Support growth and career development of General Managers,
- Coordinate new hotel openings
- The position requires frequent travel
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in managing several operative units. Cluster or regional responsibility are considered as an important advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of Hotel GM experience / Previous experience in senior leadership position
- Inspirational leadership
- Hotel’s DOP experience is considered as an important advantage.
- Experience working with hotel owners, ability to manage trusted relationships with current and future owners
- Expert level understanding of financial information and hotel data metrics
- Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls in previous roles
- Passionate to grow and develop self and others; strong relator with the ability to build relationships.
- Strategic, creative and able to communicate effectively; strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Empathy, drive and the ability to process improvement
- Highly responsible & reliable; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent spoken and written in English
