For our client, a global consulting company, we are currently seeking a Cyber Security Solutions Lead with fluent English and German language skills to join the Presales & Solutioning division.
Your new role
- Create efficient and cost‑optimized security architectures across cloud and infrastructure services.
- Provide technical guidance during presales activities, shaping solution designs that support business growth, drive innovation, and deliver strong client outcomes. Take ownership of the full lifecycle of cybersecurity solutions, including transition, run, and transformation initiatives.
- Architect and develop cybersecurity services and capabilities.
- Build comprehensive cost estimates and financial models.
- Clearly articulate the rationale behind subcontractor or supplier quotations, including assumptions, exclusions, and pricing validity, while working closely with procurement teams and external partners.
- Lead the end‑to‑end process for RFI and RFP responses, ensuring high‑quality submissions that secure client engagements.
- Prepare solution proposals, product overviews, and customer‑facing demonstrations. Provide market insights to evaluate the competitiveness of the portfolio across global and regional markets.
- Assess client purchasing behaviors, pricing expectations, and independent analyst perspectives on the portfolio.
- Maintain strong awareness of comparable offerings available in the market.
- Identify potential transformation opportunities and evaluate their impact on ongoing operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity design, transition, and operational processes (e.g., SIEM/SOAR, Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance), with a strong focus on presales and solution management.
- Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of IT architectures for Cybersecurity solutions.
- Ability to estimate costs and effort for Cybersecurity services, develop solution strategies for specific bids, and contribute across the full presales lifecycle (including RFI responses, requirements analysis, scoping activities, and proof‑of‑concept initiatives).
- Hands‑on experience preparing formal sales proposals and responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Possession of one or more recognized Cybersecurity or Cloud certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, GIAC).
- Experience conducting risk assessments, price modelling, building cost cases, and defending proposed solutions and cost structures.
- Ability to interpret and address non‑standard requirements and produce key deliverables such as SoWs, SLAs, cost models, business cases, proposal documents, presentations, and project plans.
- Proven experience delivering presentations and leading negotiations with senior stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
- Background in presales consulting or strong motivation to work in a consulting environment.
