For our Client, Poland-based company located on the South part of Poland, we are currently looking for candidates for the role of IT Director.
Your new role
- Overseeing the company's IT services area such as infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, IT asset management as well as maintenance and development of IT systems.
- Leading IT projects, driving continuous improvements, implementing innovative AI/ML solutions and digital transformation.
- Executing the strategy within the areas of responsibility.
- Supervising the preparation and implementation of the projects, development plans, and investment plans.
- Leading an entire department, with 10 Team Managers reporting directly.
- Overseeing budget execution within the scope of the activities of subordinate organizational units.
- Ensuring operations comply with applicable laws and internal corporate regulations.
- Setting the direction for change and inspiring teams to actively engage in achieving business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 7 years of professional experience gained in a large-scale company or Shared Services Center (SSC) in a managerial or director-level role within the IT industry.
- University degree preferably in IT or business-related field.
- Strong knowledge and experience in IT, including digital transformation, process optimization and automation, and modern technologies such as AI/ML, RPA, cloud computing, containerization, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
- Experience in budget management and strategic planning (P&L responsibility) is required.
- Ability to assess and implement new technologies that improve IT service efficiency.
- Expertise in team leadership, organizational design, corporate culture transformation, change management, process design and implementation, value proposition development, strategy planning and operationalization, as well as communication and public speaking.
- Results-oriented, innovative, and demonstrates high professional ethics, strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and effective stakeholder management skills.
- Familiar with the principles governing commercial companies, including remuneration policies in state-owned enterprises and public asset management.
- Upper-intermediate (B2) level of English proficiency.
