We are looking for a Master Data Team Lead.
Location: Wrocław | Work Mode: Hybrid
The primary role of this position is to lead people & transformation projects in master data team.
Responsibilities in this position include new process design, governance creation, people management and system design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in master data processes, especially materials, project and people management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and manage subject-matter expert processes to ensure high data quality standards and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enforce data governance standards for Master Data such as Materials and Purchase Info Records.
- Lead in continuous improvement efforts to enhance system performance, to provide enhanced functionality, and improve and enforce all organisational standards related to system enhancements, changes, issues and problems.
- Participates in projects in all phases of the project life cycle: project identification, feasibility, blueprinting/design, configuration, testing, documentation, implementation, training and handover to support.
- Lead a team of 6 employees responsible for data processing and governance.
- Drive the standardisation of master data processes across the organisation to ensure uniformity and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Plan and execute the transition of master data processes from local units to the shared service centre, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain high data quality standards.
- Work closely with various departments, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of master data processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on master data management best practices and tools.
Key skills:
- Experience of managing Master Data and at least 7 years working with material processes.
- Strong operational expertise in SAP ERP and SAP MDG (must-have).
- Ability to analyse data, identify inconsistencies, and ensure high data quality.
- Knowledge of Data Governance principles and hands-on experience with data quality, cleansing, and data integration.
- Practical experience with MDM tools and data management platforms.
- Ability to manage change and adapt master data to evolving business needs.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English.
- Communicative German is a plus.
