For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:


Oracle ERP Delivery Manager


Location: Warsaw, Aleja „Solidarności” 173
Branch: construction industry
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, with first contract signed for 6 or 12 months
Rate: 135-160 PLN/h net
Start date: ASAP
Remote work: possible to work 100% remote
Working hours: business hours
Team: international, consisting of team members from Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania



What will you do:


  • Lead the Technical ERP Team, providing support and direction to team members
  • Ensure that external Managed Service providers are delivering to approved designs, contractual obligations, and business expectations
  • Work with the ERP Functional Lead to ensure that changes are deployed effectively with minimal business disruption
  • Ensure that incidents and service requests are appropriately and effectively prioritised and resolved
  • Assure the quality of artefacts created by external suppliers and the ERP Technical team
  • Ensure that the appropriate governance, support, and service management methodologies are in place and working effectively
  • Ensure that the ERP system is administered efficiently and effectively, meeting business needs whilst ensuring appropriate system security and controls are in place
  • Contribute to Oracle roadmap and ERP strategy
  • Monitor, analyse and report on Oracle ERP Service delivery and business compliance with Governance processes, and recommend governance or strategy changes to the Delivery Team supported by metrics
  • Monitor and report Oracle ERP Service delivery performance against SLAs, highlight success and opportunities to improve
  • Meet regularly with the Oracle ERP Management team to analyse performance, provide insight and agree priorities for improvement
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement agenda and demonstrate that future plans are based on a robust analysis of historical performance data, future strategy and also best practice
  • Agree and produce reports to be shared with Business Process Owners, Oracle ERP Governance Boards, highlighting success and opportunities to improve
  • Work with the ERP Management Team to coordinate the maintenance schedule of system patches and updates, regression testing, legislative updates etc.
  • Ensure the Service Delivery Team has fully documented evidence of Governance compliance including (but not limited to) testing, documentation, cutover plans, communications and approvals
  • Provide training and coaching as required (informal and formal) to ensure any changes in procedures are implemented and advances in technology are maximised
  • Provide support and guidance to the team as needed and ensure that their skill set is developed to meet changing business needs
  • Chair the Risk and Security Governance forum ensuring platform compliance in relation to Joiners, Movers and Leavers, Segregation of Duties and privileged access.

What we expect from you:


  • Min. 5 years of experience with core Oracle ERP systems and Oracle service and operational procedures and administrating an Oracle Cloud ERP solution
  • Extensive Oracle ERP experience in a Support Role, operating at a Senior level within a large PLC
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a high performing team
  • ITIL qualification and 5+ years’ experience of implementing and working in ITIL service operations
  • Extensive experienced working with delivering team, ensuring release and environment management governance and stable Oracle ERP Fusion platforms
  • Strong background in management within an Oracle ERP Fusion Business Support Environment and experience of delivering a continuous improvement agenda
  • Demonstrable ability to engage with vendors and review technical proposals to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives
  • Ability to work and lead others in both Waterfall and Agile environments, and to understand when either approach is needed
  • Proactive and passionate about delivering best practice methodologies to obtain results
  • Knowledge of English on B2/C1 level
