Project and Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Project Manager (contractor) focused on Data workstreams & UAT management for a high-priority, high-complexity implementation program in one of Client’s most high-profile business units. If you have a passion for data, problem solving, and collaborative delivery, we want to hear from you.
As Project Manager – Data & UAT Manager, you will oversee planning and delivery of data-centric workstreams across the platform. You will define and govern the UAT strategy, criteria, and execution to ensure readiness and quality. Your responsibilities include driving UAT readiness, leading defect management processes, providing consolidated progress reporting, and managing risks and dependencies related to data and testing. You will also support cutover activities and ensure smooth transition to business as usual from a data and quality assurance perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end management of data workstreams and deliverables across the platform
- Design, implement, and govern the UAT strategy and criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Drive UAT readiness, coordinating stakeholders and managing execution timelines
- Own defect management and resolution, tracking issues and ensuring timely closure
- Provide consolidated reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies for data and UAT activities
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies, escalating as needed to ensure project success
- Support cutover planning and transition to BAU, focusing on data quality and assurance
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management of data workstreams and UAT for large scale programs
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and testing practices
- Ability to develop and execute UAT strategies, manage test criteria, and drive readiness
- Demonstrated skill in defect management, issue tracking, and consolidated reporting
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced organizational and time management abilities, handling multiple priorities professionally
- Experience with risk and dependency management in data and testing contexts
- Leadership and motivational skills, fostering collaboration and accountability
- Extensive understanding of Project Management methodologies (such as PMP and Agile) and can demonstrate a pragmatic application of these to a given situation
- The successful initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects
- Proven record of leading large and sophisticated Projects with relevant industry experience
- Negotiating with all parts of an organization to secure resources and/or budget, meet deadlines, attain approvals, embed process, and handle conflicts
- Excellent communicator, critical thinker and problem solver and time management skills
- Facilitation of project meetings with internal colleagues and third parties
- Excellent executive-level stakeholder management. Ability to guide, influence and effectively manage expectations of multiple senior stakeholders
