RTR SME:
For the ISS Global Finance Service Centre in Gdańsk, we are looking for an experienced RTR Subject Matter Expert who will deliver high‑quality, front‑office Record to Report transactional services to the UK business.
Main Purpose of the Position
The role focuses on processing journal entries and cost allocations, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger. The RTR Subject Matter Expert plays a key role in supporting month‑end close activities, conducting accounting quality assurance, and handling post‑close queries. The position also promotes best practices in financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Main responsibilities:
- Process and post journal entries, accruals, and cost allocations for the UK business
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Investigate and clear interface errors and suspense accounts
- Support intercompany and payroll accounting activities
- Handle front‑office RTR queries from UK finance stakeholders
- Support month‑end close activities and accounting quality checks
- Monitor transactions across key systems (e.g. Concur, Coupa, Maximo, Navision)
- Maintain and update process documentation, support continuous improvement and ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
- Part‑qualified accounting certification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of RTR or financial accounting experience
- Experience in a multi‑site organization or Finance Shared Service Centre
- Strong accounting knowledge across GL, AP, and AR
- Experience or knowledge of Navision is preferred
- Good IT skills, including intermediate/advanced MS Excel
