SAP ABAP Developer / Consultant

About the Role
An SAP ABAP Developer is sought to support SAP implementation and maintenance projects across logistics environments, working with both local and international stakeholders. The role combines hands-on development, close collaboration with functional consultants and business users, and active participation in project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP OO.
  • Participate in SAP implementation and application support projects within logistics.
  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users, and project stakeholders.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing SAP developments.
  • Support development teams by providing technical guidance and contributing to problem resolution.
  • Participate in project meetings and foster effective collaboration across teams.
  • Contribute to code reviews and maintain high development quality standards.
  • Proactively identify process improvements and support the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and support less experienced team members in overcoming technical challenges.
Requirements
Experience & Technical Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SAP development.
  • Strong expertise in ABAP and ABAP Objects (ABAP OO).
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming in SAP environments.
  • Experience in debugging, analyzing, and enhancing existing SAP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles, object-oriented design, and code quality standards.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks from analysis through delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication & Languages
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following languages:
    • English
    • Polish
    • German
  • Ability to work effectively in an international business environment.
Additional Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally when required.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with BOPF and/or PPF frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SAP integration technologies such as SOAP, RFC, IDoc, ICF, and OData.
  • Experience with SAP UI technologies including FPM, Web Dynpro, UI5, and Web IDE.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and SAPscript.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages.
