Senior Backend developer

Tech Lead, Node.js, Senior Backend developer, Team Lead, AWS

For our client, we are looking for Senior Backend developer Node.js/TypeScript.


Location: Warsaw (hybrid: 80% remote, 20% office)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the system architect on platform evolution and long-term technical strategy
  • Actively contribute to development, architecture discussions, and code quality initiatives
  • Promote engineering excellence: clean code, peer reviews, testing, observability, CI/CD
  • Mentor and support team members
Requirements:
  • Strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Production experience with MongoDB
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integrations
  • Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Proactive, structured, and able to drive initiatives independently
Nice to Have:

  • Expertise in AWS (ALB/NLB, WAF, cloud-native security and scalability)
  • Interest in learning Go (Golang)
  • Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka)
  • Exposure to IoT or Smart Home platforms
  • Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, React
