Your new role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on C++ and Linux to join our team to work on our distributed software system. The Software Infrastructure team focusses on system management software to handle POST, case tracking, internal host/application monitoring, and power management, as well as software infrastructure topics to handle fault/notifications, application communication, logging, and system configuration.

• Work with software and other engineers (clinical, systems, mechanical, electrical) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for medical robotic applications.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
• Work with engineering teams to support their business requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least a Bachelor of Science degree - Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, etc.
• 3+ years of experience in C++ (11 and newer) development and Object-Oriented development.

• Experience working with hardware and product bring up
• Strong knowledge and experience with Linux
• Experience with networking in a distributed system
• Experience with Python, CMake, Bash
• Experience working in medical devices
