Position overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end initiatives within the organization. This role is part of the Program Management team and oversees requirements gathering, solution design, planning, execution, and successful delivery. The position sits within the Advanced Safety & User Experience area and involves working with international, cross‑functional teams on high‑impact software projects that shape the future of modern automotive technology.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end project delivery across the entire product lifecycle
- Translate product vision, customer requirements, and market trends into clear specifications
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders across global teams
- Cooperate with software engineering teams on backlog prioritization, estimations, and sprint planning
- Monitor feature implementation and ensure milestones are met
- Prepare and execute structured test plans for software prototypes
- Troubleshoot issues related to cloud services, APIs, and web-based engineering tools
- Coordinate engineering tests and software proof‑of‑concepts (POCs)
- Manage KPIs across cost, quality, delivery, methodology, and timeline
- Oversee cross‑functional teams and ensure project objectives are met
- Identify and mitigate project risks; escalate when required
- Implement best practices and tools that improve project execution
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal/external customers
- Ensure compliance with Product Development Process requirements
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager / Technical Project Manager
- Experience in engineering or automotive projects (strong advantage)
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in delivering international projects with ownership of business targets
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English (min. B2), additional languages are a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
