BEWARE OF RECRUITMENT SCAMS KNOWN TO BE TARGETING JOBSEEKERS
At Hays, safety during the job search is extremely important to us. Due to the increase in the number of reported job and employment scams throughout Poland, we present the best ways to stay safe.
Job and employment scams involve asking you to transfer money or provide confidential personal information in exchange for a job that does not exist, often claiming to be from a reputable organisation such as Hays.
Employment fraud may involve contact from someone claiming to be a Hays consultant via email, social media, text message, WhatsApp or a notice board, who may ask you to provide personal or financial information.
Job and employment scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated, but knowing certain warning signs can protect you from them.

If you receive messages about job offers, the following warning signs may indicate a potential scam:

You come across an advertisement, receive an e-mail, message or phone call offering guaranteed income or employment.
-
Suspicious profile photo, lack of real profile information, activity or contact details.
-
The message may promise the opportunity to earn a lot of money with little effort using a personal computer or guarantee high profits.

The message asks you to provide personal information or pay a fee to obtain further information about the job.
-
